
The voters thronged to polling stations in large numbers across Pakistan today to exercise their right to vote to elect their representatives for the next five years in a historic third consecutive General Election.
A series of unofficial results will , which will unveil the face of the upcoming political setup in the country.

Polling from 8am to 6pm: As it happened
In hotly contested elections, the polling day witnessed sporadic foul plays including a major bombing incident outside a polling station in Quetta that claimed over two dozens of lives and scores of scuffles among the workers of rival political parties. However, the polling process remained smooth and peaceful in major parts of the country.
After a hectic polling day, extended one hour by the election commission in an effort to provide right to vote to maximum voters, the polling has been completed at 6 pm.

Leading candidate: Imran Khan, PTI (863 votes)
Runner-up: Obaidullah Khan, PML-N (381 votes)

According to unofficial results, PTI’s Sher Akbar Khan received 79 votes, while Awami Worker’s Party (AWP) Fanoos Gujar received 76 votes at Govt. Primary School Polling Station.
NA-259 Kila Saifullah
Initial results reveal that MMA’s Abdul Wasay received 832 votes and JUI-Nazriati’s Abdul Rauf bagged 86 votes.
