CJ praises Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police IG

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday praised Khyber Paktunkhwa Police Inspector General Salahuddin Mehsud as he sat to hear cases of public welfare in Peshawar.He said if the court can salute one person, it is Inspector General (IG) Salahuddin Mehsud, after the IG told the judge that complying with the Supreme Court orders he has withdrawn police security from over 1500 non-essential officials.He explained further that the remaining security cover will also be withdrawn in phases. The chief expressed satisfaction over the performance of the IG police who told the media outside the court that he considers the court's remarks appreciation for the entire department of police.
