KARACHI: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq on Sunday said those who committed blasphemy did not deserve pardon, ARY News reported.
“The battle between truth and falsehood would continue till the Day of Judgement,” he said while addressing Hurmat-e-Rasool (SAWW) March in Karachi.
Siraj said Pakistan was created in the name of Islamic philosophy and ideology. He said love for the holy Prophet (SAWW) would continue till the Last Day.

“Unfortunately, making the West happy has been policy of our rulers,” he said while talking about the recent acquittal of Asia Bibi by the Supreme Court in blasphemy case. He said the West was jubilant over her release and the British prime minister congratulated her nation.
He also termed assassination of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-S Chief Maulana Sami-ul-Haq a conspiracy against Pakistan.
In reaction to the threat of the government, the JI chief said the government’s threatening could not barricade them from expressing love for the holy Prophet (SAWW).
He sought formation of a larger bench on the top court verdict of acquittal of Asia Bibi and the case should be heard again and till then her name should be place on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Siraj-ul-Haq said the government had put the entire nation into trouble. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan should prove himself as a responsible person.
