ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced results of 730 of 831 national and provincial assemblies’ seats.
According to the ECP, the commission has so far received results of 230 National Assembly seats while it also got results of 500 provincial assemblies’ seats of the four provinces.
It has received 86.8 percent unofficial results of national and provincial assemblies’ constituencies.
Out of the received results of 230 National Assembly seats, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf is having a lead with 107 seats while Pakistan Muslim League (N) is trailing behind with 56 seats, followed by 32 seats secured by the PPP.
The Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) secured 10 seats and Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Balochistan Natioanl Party, Mutahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan, and Balochistan Awami Party has secured 5, 2, 2, and 1 seat respectively.
In Punjab Assembly, of the received results of 264 seats, PML-N is leading with 119 seats while PTI is trailing behind it with 108 seats so far. Pakistan Muslim League (Q) secured 7 seats while MMA won on 04 seats.
Of the results of 103 seats of Sindh Assembly, the PPP has secured 64 seats while PTI could win 18 seats and Grand Democratic Alliance 11 seats.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, of 96 out of the total 97 seats, the PTI clinched 65 seats while the MMA, ANP, PML-N, and PPP won on 10, 6, 5, and 4 seats respectively. Balochistan Awami Party is leading in Balochistan with 8 seats followed by MMA with 7 seats.
