PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday would arrive in Peshawar on a day-long visit, ARY News reported.
As per schedule of the premier, he will inaugurate oncology services at the Shaukat Khanam Hospital and hold meetings with the governor, chief minister and provincial ministers.
Later, the prime minister will also visit Orakzai District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he will address a public gathering. Arrangements have been finalised in this regard.
PM Khan will also chair a meeting to review development work in the tribal district that recently merged into Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP).
Earlier on April 17, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that development of tribal districts and provision of basic facilities to tribal people were the top priorities of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government.

Presiding over a high-level meeting to review the development of newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PM Imran had said that the tribal people rendered unmatched sacrifices during the war against terrorism and directed to release the compensation money to the tribal people immediately.
He asked the elected members from newly merged districts to strengthen their bonding with the tribal people and ordered to accelerate distribution of Sehat Insaf cards to masses.
