MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi warned on Sunday India is once again plotting military action against Pakistan.
“Pakistan has reliable intelligence that India is hatching a new plot and may resort to military aggression against Pakistan between April 16-20,” the foreign minister cautioned while speaking at an important press conference here.
He said the purpose of the Indian aggression would be to put diplomatic pressure on Pakistan and justify its military action. “An incident similar to Pulwama could recur in the occupied Kashmir valley,” he warned.
Qureshi said keeping in view these facts, the Foreign Office immediately decided to hold a meeting of the ambassadors of the P-5 counties (UN Security Council’s five permanent members) and briefed them on Pakistan’s concerns about the possible Indian aggression.
He urged the international community to take note of the irresponsible behaviour of India.
