KARACHI: Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari, criticised on Tuesday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government over the removal of Punjab Inspector General of Police Amjad Javed Saleemi from his post.
“THIRD IG Punjab to be removed in 8 months – zero explanation. FYI Sindh govt could not change one,” she said in a message on her Twitter handle.

Earlier on Monday,the federal government had removed the Punjab’s Inspector General of Police (IG) Amjad Javed Saleemi from his post.
The Establishment Division directed Mr Saleemi to report to the Establishment Division and appointed Federal Narcotics Control secretary retired Capt Arif Nawaz new head of the provincial police force.
