KARACHI: Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have rounded up nine outlaws during overnight raids in different parts of the metropolis, ARY News reported.
According to police, three suspected criminals were arrested during a raid near Waseem Bagh in Glushan-a-Iqbal neighbourhood. Illicit arms were recovered from their possession.
The suspects were identified as Abdullah, Yousuf and Ameen. Acting upon information provided by them, the police seized a stolen bike from Mobina Town, according to the SSP East district.
He said the arrested suspect would steal car batteries, side glasses, and other tools.
Separately, the police arrested two suspected street criminals during a raid within the jurisdiction of Al-Falah police station and recovered weapons and other stolen valuables from their possession.
They were identified as Umar and Sheeraz. Their accomplice managed to flee the scene.
The Al-Falah police said they arrested four criminals in another raid. The suspects were involved in robberies and other crimes.
