ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday left for Germany to attend international security conference, ARY News reported.
The moot will be attended by defence, foreign ministers and security experts across the globe.
The minister is scheduled to meet his counterparts from Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan, Canada and other countries during the conference.
The FM will present Pakistan’s stance for enduring long lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Expressing his views, while talking to newsmen, before flying to Munich, Qureshi said he will present Pakistan’s point of view on different issues of regional peace and security in the conference.
He maintained that Pakistan-US relations have reached an important point and it is his effort to reset the relations with the United States.

The FM said he will hold meetings with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and other world leaders to bring peace in the war-torn country.
He said that Pakistan has always supported peace efforts to bring stability to Afghanistan.
Last week, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had sternly responded to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s statement regarding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and termed it as ‘gross interference.’
