ISLAMABAD: Premier Imran Khan is scheduled to visit Lahore and Karachi in the upcoming week, ARY News reported.
As per details, Prime Minister Khan will address a ceremony in Aiwan-e-Lahore and shed light on the first 100 days’ achievements of his government during the visit of the Punjab provincial capital.
On the other hand, PM Khan, during his tour to Karachi, will receive a briefing on the law and order situation of the city. Moreover, party leaders from the metropolis will also call on the premier.
Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday approved, in principle, constitution of a task force on ‘Technology Driven Knowledge Economy’ during a meeting between Imran Khan and Dr Atta-ur-Rehman.
The task force is being established with an aim to carry out foresight exercises at regular intervals in order to constantly re-evaluate national priorities and put in place strategies and action plans, with delineated timelines, to build a powerful knowledge economy, said the Prime Minister’s Office.
The prime minister’s task force on ‘Technology Driven Knowledge Economy’ will comprise leading scientists and engineers, representatives from private sector and federal and provincial governments.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM said building intellectual capital of the country, industrialisation and development of human capital, enhancement of value added produce along with quality management for optimisation of productivity were among the foremost priorities of the government.
