ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi turned out to be a fan of blockbuster movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, as he said to have watched and liked the romantic comedy film.
President Alvi took to Twitter to share his admiration of the highest-grossing movie, saying “I watched the movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 yesterday,” and called it an “excellent production”.
He further hailed the Pakistani film industry and wrote “I am glad Pakistan cinema is catching up and creating good entertainment.”

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 – is a joint venture of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib’s Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja’s ARY Films.
It is sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry.
The movie’s leading cast includes Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Uzma Khan and Omer Shahzad.
The second edition of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani has been ruling over the silver screen across Pakistan as well as internationally since its release on Eid-ul-Azha.
Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 has the honor of turning out to be the biggest opener for any Pakistani film with collecting ₨ 2.99 crore. The film also recorded the biggest international opening for any Pakistani film with collecting ₨ 2.17 crore
