ISLAMABAD: Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said Nawaz Sharif would not get freedom from jail through protest movement, but he would get freedom by undergoing court trial, ARY News reported.
“Nawaz Sharif still dwells in people’s hearts,” he said while talking to media.
He said since the opposition comprised of different political parties, therefore, it appeared divided in presidential election.
“Attempts are being made that presidential candidate is one, even if it is not the case, it is still going to be a good election,” he said.

To a query, the former prime minister said he had had no contact with former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
It is pertinent to mention that an accountability court on Monday adjourned the hearing of Al-Azizia and Flagship Investment references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and members of his family.
Accountability Court-II Judge Arshad Malik adjourned the hearing till 12:30 pm on Tuesday (tomorrow).
Nawaz was produced before the court in the federal capital from Adiala jail for the hearing of the two cases against him.
