ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and ISI Director General Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here today.
According to a statement issued by the PM Office, the matters pertaining to national security and regional stability were discussed during the meeting.
On Sept 13, the prime minister paid a visit to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters where he said the government and people of Pakistan firmly stand behind their armed forces and intelligence agencies.
The premier was received by Gen Bajwa and intelligence chief on his arrival at the premier intelligence agency.
During the visit, he was briefed on various strategic intelligence and national security matters for eight hours.
The prime minister laid a floral wreath at the Yadgare Shuhada and offered Fateha.
