LAHORE: Pakistan will dethrone New Zealand from top Twenty20 International (T20) ranking if the green shirts win the third and final game of the series against the Blackcaps on Sunday.
Pakistan are at second position at the moment with 124 rating points, just a fraction behind the Kiwis (125). The match will be played at 11:00am (PST) at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. The visitors are expected to keep their winning combination unchanged for the final T20I, whereas, injured Glenn Phillips and Colin Munro will not play for the Blackcaps.
It is worth mentioning here that the three-match series is levelled 1-1, and the winners of tomorrow’s game will clinch the series. The Kiwis had defeated Pakistan in first encounter by seven wickets, and Green Shirts had outclassed New Zealand by 48 runs in the second match. Both games remained one-sided.
