RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Thursday said that conspirators would not be allowed to spoil the achievements taken in war against terrorism, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Talking to university students, during his visit to Peshawar Corps, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said,” Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) itself not a big issue but some of its elements are playing in the hands of foreigners.”
According to military’s media wing, he said that these elements, in collaboration with the foreigners, spreading rumors and playing with the emotions of local people.
The COAS said that Pakistan Army and the nation rendered unmatched sacrifices in war against terrorism and eliminated the menace of terrorism. He said, “Time has come to devolve the achievements to masses through social and economic progress.”
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the government and the security forces striving hard to resolve the issues of tribal people. He said that they would beat the internal and external conspirators through economic stability.
The COAS termed youths future of Pakistan and added that the country belonged to youths, read the statement.

Earlier, Pakistan military spokesperson, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on April 29 had warned India to refrain from any misadventure against Pakistan, ARY News reported.
“Keep this in your mind, this is not 1971. The Pakistani military is fully capable of a befitting response through the support of its 207 million nation. You had once said that the nuclear assets were not for Diwali. You may test us as we are fully prepared.”
“India should remember the fate of its fighter jets before thinking for any misadventure against Pakistan,” he had warned.
