ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the federal cabinet will be held under the chair of the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (today), ARY News reported.

The federal cabinet is likely to approve decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) besides reviewing the implementation of previous decisions.
Approvals for the establishment of Pakistan Media University and salary packages to Information Commission members were also included in the agenda.
ECC decisions
Earlier on April 8, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved the proposal of Communication Division to provide technical supplementary grant amounting to Rs500 million for the construction of additional carriageway on Torkham-Jalalabad Road under prime minister’s program for reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The decision of ECC would not only benefit the people and business community of the two neighbouring countries but would also help promoting trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as central Asian states, reads the statement.
