ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar has summoned the meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Wednesday (April 17), ARY News reported.
A 15-point agenda has also been finalized for the meeting. The Ministry of Information and Technology will furnish a summary for special grant for visa regime ad campaign on the media.
Likewise, a summary for cash payment to international law firms and lawyers would also be presented to the meeting.

The agenda also includes summary for funds of Pak Army Special Security Division. The government summary for Utility Stores Corporation ahead of Ramazan will also be presented.
A document for fuel transportation through rail will also be presented before the committee for discussion and approval.
A grant request of Rs 1.3 billion for passports and immigration department will also be presented to sail through the ECC members.
Similarly, a fund of Rs 330 million for Gilgit Baltistan will also come under discussion.
The last meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet was held on April 8 with Finance Minister Asad Umar in chair. The meeting had discussed the overall state of the national economy.
A report regarding revival of Pakistan Steel Mills was presented in the ECC meeting. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Steel, the country’s largest industrial complex is dysfunctional since June 2015.
