ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Sunday said that threat of a nuclear war between Pakistan and India was not yet over, ARY News reported.
Raja Farooq Haider said that the threat of a nuclear war between the two archrival neighboring countries would continue to loom unless Kashmir issue was resolved.
Talking to journalists, the prime minister said that the government was providing every possible assistance to the victims of Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).
Farooq Haider said that he was personally visiting various sectors along LoC to evaluate losses being inflicted by Indian firing.
He said that the AJK government had sent six additional ambulances to the areas close to LOC.

Earlier, the New York Times on March 8, had claimed that a threat of nuclear war between Pakistan and India still remained.
The situation between the neighbouring countries turned hostile in a tit-for-tat airstrikes following the Pulwama attack that killed over 40 Indian troops in occupied Kashmir on Feb 14.
In an opinion piece, the NYT’s editorial board has emphasised that although the Indo-Pak tensions have deescalated, for now, the threat of nuclear armed clash between the two countries still persists.
