GUJRANWALA: At least four people, including three children and a female teacher, were killed while more than a dozen others got injured when the roof of a school caved in in Gujranwala on Saturday, ARY News reported.
According to the Gujranwala deputy commissioner, the incident took place in a school located on Kashmir road. He said three children and a female teacher were killed in the roof collapse while 20 others sustained wounds.
The rescue operation is underway to recover the people trapped under the debris.
Earlier, on Feb 21, a teacher was killed in Gujranwala after the roof of a school had collapsed.

Due to the continued rain, the already dilapidated roof over the principal’s office in the Government Elementary School, Aroop caved in.
Teacher Shakila and the principal Gulzar Awan were present at the time of the collapse. The teacher was killed while the principal had suffered wounds.
