ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting to discuss the issue of formation of the standing committees, according to party sources.
The prime minister will chair a meeting on Monday to discuss the issue of the formation of the parliamentary committees, which have been in pending over the row with the opposition about the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
The opposition had refused to be part of the committees and was demanding that the chair of the PAC should be given to the Leader of the Opposition, as per a tradition set during the tenures of the previous two political governments.

The meeting will also be informed about the talks with the opposition parties, party sources said.
