NAROWAL: Punjab police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a wanted dacoit by tracing his location after he posted a lip-sync video on his Facebook account, ARY News reported.
According to details, a wanted dacoit named Talha was arrested by Narowal police after he posted a video on his Facebook account. Talha had recorded a video of himself synced to a Sunny Deol dialogue from his 1996 flick ‘Jeet’
As the video reached police, the department traced the suspected robber’s location and arrested him with a number of his accomplices. Police say he was one the absconding suspects from a 2011 dacotiy case.
The law enforcement agency also claimed to have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the dacoit’s custody.
