ISLAMABAD: Newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday held a meeting with owners of different media houses including Founder and Chief Executive Officer ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal in Islamabad.
In the meeting, the PM asked media houses to preach austerity to the masses.
Discussing how to counter economic crisis facing Pakistan, he said the governments and the people would have to cut extra expenditures.
“We should spend less than we earn,” he said seeking media’s help in propagating his message to the people.
The owners of the media houses present on this occasion expressed willingness to support his campaign to adopt austerity.
